2021 American Architecture Award goes to… Indian Creek Library in Olathe, Kansas!
We are delighted that Group 4’s collaboration with Gould Evans on this grocery-store-turned-library keeps winning awards. The prestigious Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design selects cutting-edge design projects from across the country for the American Architecture Awards. Indian Creek Library caught their attention with its shimmering steel sun shade and spacious, light-filled interiors. And visitors gush about the modern library amenities including a maker space, a gaming room, a recording studio, and more; one visitor dubbed it the “best place in Olathe.” The project was a result of Group 4’s master plan for the Olathe Public Library, which continues to bear fruit with a new Downtown Library currently in design by Gould Evans with Group 4 support.
