Santa Clara County commissioned Group 4 to redesign 21,000 square feet on multiple floors of its County Government Center building at 70 West Hedding Street in San Jose. Group 4’s design improved functionality and customer service, expanded space for internal and external collaboration, and maximized space efficiency. These updates promoted comfort, safety, wellness, and productivity for departments including the Board of Supervisors District staff, four divisions of the Employee Services Agency, and the Offices of the County Counsel. 

For each department, Group 4 provided space planning, interior design, custom casework design, furniture selection, and construction administration services. Tenant improvements on each floor were constructed while the rest of the building was occupied.
