Carolyn Carlberg

Carolyn is a talented planner and designer of projects at a range of scales and types, from libraries, to environmental centers, to community-wide master plans. Carolyn has led the development of Group 4’s in-house sustainability initiatives, mentoring programs, and graphic design standards. Since joining the firm in 2008, she has been instrumental in all phases of project design, development, and execution. Her excellent communication skills allow her to translate the goals of a community into lasting, beautiful, and effective design solutions.

Outside of the office, Carolyn lives life on the go. When she’s not summiting remote mountaintops, hiking in Scandinavia, or dodging mountain lions in the East Bay hills, she can be found running marathons from Boston, MA, to Athens, Greece. Don’t blink or you’ll miss her!
